Weddings don’t have to be big, elaborate, or expensive to be magical. Berkshire elopements offers a one-stop shop for a beautiful, memorable wedding right here in the heart of the Berkshires.
Intimate weddings – Traditionally, elopements were meant to be just the couple and a officiant (Elvis, anyone?), but we know there may be some important people you want with you on your special day. At BE – we honor both traditions and create events for groups of 2-10.
Leave the planning to us – One of the most stressful parts of a wedding is the planning; that’s why we take care of everything! After you sign on with BE, we will send a get to know you questionnaire, and then take care of every detail. All you need to do is get your marriage license, show up with your beloved, and BE married!
The Berkshires – The beautiful Berkshires provides endless options for your wedding venue, all year long. The best part? Many of these places are free! Want to be married in front of a waterfall? We can do that! A bucolic field? We got you! A Gilded Age mansion, woodsy ruins, a field of wildflowers, a mountain top? The Sky is the limit – the only requirement: you have to be ready for the unexpected.

Yes! We will acquire the appropriate permits to legally officiate your wedding. To be legally married, you are required to acquire a marriage license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. You must appear in person to fill out your intent to marry, which can be done at any City/Town Hall in the State of MA. An intent to Marry can’t be filed more than 60 days from your wedding date and MUST be filed no later than 3 business dates before your wedding date; there is a 3-day wedding period in MA.

Typically our couples come to us 3-6 months before their wedding, however earlier is ok too! Due to local law, there is a one-month minimum from the time we book until we can host your wedding.

BE weddings are intended to be intimate in nature. Many of our venues are off the beaten path, and navigating too many guests takes away from the magic of your day.
For that reason, our elopements cap at 10, including the couple.

Adventure and nature are at the core of BE. We will always have a solid “plan B” in mind, however we encourage you to consider your comfort level with Inclement weather when selecting a ceremony location. If weather is a concern, we will work with you to find a location where it isn’t event a worry!

Included in the base package are arrangements for a celebratory meal at a local restaurant. If you would like to add catering to your wedding, we absolutely can do that! We will work with you to create a well-rounded wedding celebration.
Please note, catering and associated rentals are an additional fee.
